About
Sydney Murals
Over a Decade of Experience In Public Art Projects.
Sydney Murals is an independent, artist-led agency creating large-scale murals and public artworks for councils, developers, businesses, community organisations and schools across Australia.
We work with experienced artists to develop original, site-specific projects shaped by consultation, context and purpose. From creative direction and artist selection through to production and installation, we manage the process clearly and collaboratively, helping turn ideas into distinctive artwork with lasting impact.
Public Art That Creates Lasting Value
A well-executed mural can change how people see, use and remember a space. Research suggests that public art can encourage greater activity around a site and strengthen the identity of an area, creating a flow-on benefit for businesses, property owners and the wider community. What begins as an artwork can become a recognisable landmark, drawing attention, creating pride and adding long-term value well beyond the wall itself.
Sydney Murals was founded by Sydney mural artist Daniel Walton, drawing on more than a decade of experience delivering large-scale mural and public art projects in Australia and overseas. That experience also includes leading workshops and consultation sessions to build community engagement and help guide the creative direction of each project.
Sydney Murals was built on a simple approach: strong artwork should be matched by clear communication, meaningful collaboration and professional delivery, while ensuring artists are properly valued and supported throughout the process.
That balance between creative integrity and professional delivery continues to guide how Sydney Murals works with artists, clients and communities on every project.
