Strathfield Tunnel Project

As part of Strathfield City Council’s Hudson Park upgrade, Sydney Murals partnered with local engineering company Ally Civil to transform a neglected pedestrian tunnel into a brighter, more welcoming connection through the park.

The brief focused on making the tunnel feel less intimidating and more inviting for the families and community members who use it each day. Bright, playful colours were paired with flowing patterns and native flora and fauna, creating a more positive experience as the tunnel connects through to a children’s playground and nearby community facilities.

The finished mural brings energy and character to a once-overlooked part of the park, helping the tunnel feel safer, friendlier and more connected to the surrounding environment.
